Leyla Soleil

Leyla Soleil is the owner and artistic director of Dance du Soleil Studio and a lifelong student of dance and other movement arts. She started her career as a professional belly dancer in the Cleveland, Ohio Greek, Arabic and American restaurant and party scene where she was a featured dancer at many venues for over ten years. She is also known in the national belly dance community as well. This September Leyla is thrilled to have been chosen as a workshop instructor and performer at the prestigious Las Vegas Bellydance Convention.  Last year Leyla was chosen from thousands of applicants to participate in Project Bellydance, an Internet based realty show/ dance competition. In 2011 Leyla flew to Los Angeles to receive an award from the Middle Eastern Culture and Dance Association based on merit and contributions to the dance community. Leyla has studied many different styles of bellydance, as well as jazz, and ballet. She is passionate about Dance as an Avenue to Fitness and Health and is also certified in Zumba and yoga.
