Lisa McLymont is a multi-disciplinary artist, designer, and passionate community arts volunteer. Active in the Columbus arts scene, Lisa has a studio at tacocat cooperative, and is an administrator of the Art and Artists Of Network (AAAO), Creative Arts of Women (CAW!), and the Creative Women of Color(CWoC). Artist Statement
Mediating on the positive and chromatic, I investigate life’s depths through creative sprints that allow me to translate the world around me. My art is meant to share simple reminders that our time is limited here on earth. I use a variety of natural and recycled materials such as copper, silver, leather, paper, shell, stone and hemp to help others find what they need to connect to their sources of life.
Design Statement
I work to understand social and business perspectives, and use the knowledge gained to build simple, flexible tools for others.
