ADR Productions sole priority is to create, produce, enhance, educate and rehab individuals of the performing arts bringing artistic endeavours to fruition. ADR promotes artistic development of the performing arts through demonstrated stage plays and workshops. We aim to facilitate an on-going series of free or affordable workshops, led by experts and/or college majors in their perspective fields, for members of the professional theatrical community. Finally, it is our long-term goal to establish a program of residencies with local schools. ADR Productions believes that nurturing the artistic development at an early age is essential to perpetuating and advancing the art of theatre for generations to come.
Carol T. Williams (Columbus native, author, playwright, producer and director ) is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADR Productions Theatre. While her experience as an actor came when she made her first debut appearance as a cast extra in the film, “Find Him a Wife,” by Abdisalam Aato. Other screen credits include a television commercial for State Auto Insurance. Carol has spent many years writing. In July of 1999 Carol self-published her first book of selected writings titled“BELLOWS from THE SOUL.” In October 2000, she founded Rave Publications, whereby she published her second book of writings titled “On The Wings of Faith.”
It was early 2008 when she published her first novel titled, “The Monkey Cage,” by which she produced her first stage play, “The Monkey On My Back,” in May 2010, at the King Arts Complex. Since then, Carol has produced “The Monkey On My Back, Part II,” and is currently working on her third production of the sequel; "The Monkey On My Back Part III."
She plans to continue producing “collective works of arts” for her community.
