My Art is Choxley

One of the traits of Choxley is the love of patinas or wear of hides and cloth . They are the sign of the authenticity of a past, we try to re-purpose these unique makings for the external decoration of the bags, quilts, blankets and bedding.  

We  give a second life to objects or materials worn by history and by time. Or we use New fabric 2nd offs, these are normal discarded by fabric mills because of small imperfections. 

Discolorations or "small imperfections" of the fabric are the result of many years of wear and natural aging that we find, adds charm and character to a bag or blanket.
