Stephanie Forney is a professional artist and educator in the central Ohio area. She's been working as an artist for over 22 years and as a teacher for over 18 years. Stephanie teaches high school art courses including digital art and design, 3D modeling and animation, and art foundations. For her personal art, she works mainly in pastel, charcoal, and digital painting along with other traditional drawing and painting mediums. Stephanie had her first solo exhibition in 2001 at 2Co's Cabaret in Columbus, Ohio. She has exhibited in a few art exhibitions in the past, but has mainly been doing children's book illustration, commission-based and charity-based art for the past five years. Outside of fine art, Stephanie also works in the illustration industry. She is currently working on her second children's book and does writing and art assists on various comic book projects. She co-created the comic book character Scarlet Huntress with husband and artist Sean Forney, and writes the series that they self-publish together.
