Our collaborative installation hinges around the loss of wildlife our planet will experience, including the complete extermination of at least 14 local avian species, massive fish kills caused by soaring temperatures in the water; and, perhaps, the complete extermination of Salmonids from our small coldwater streams and Lake Erie. Our mural will have painted components, found objects and assemblages presented as theater (red curtains and a stage). Through this, we will illustrate the loss of avian and fish species, while including little Hints of hope throughout the painting. We hope our work plants facts in the thoughts and conversations in our community.
