With all sorts of holiday celebrations going on, there are plenty of opportunities to include the arts this week! I glanced at the calendar on ColumbusMakesArt.com and found a lot going on:
- The Tony Hagood Quartet plays the music of Vince Guaraldi at Natalie’s today (Dec. 21). Then on Friday, Dec. 23 Natalie’s hosts The Wonderfool & Friends second-annual holiday show.
- The Columbus Museum of Art offers winter art breaks, family friendly activities Wednesday and Thursday afternoons this week (Dec. 21 and 22) and next (Dec. 28 and 29.
- The Nest Theatre features a ComedySportz improv competition on Friday, Dec. 23.
- If you’re up for a high-energy rock Christmas spectacular, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra plays Nationwide Arena on Friday, Dec. 23.
There are also a few events wrapping up this week:
- Shadowbox Live’s Holiday Hoopla (closing Dec. 23)
- Exhibitions featuring artists Charley Hooper and Kenia LaMarr at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center (Dec. 23)
- Columbus Children’s Theatre’s production of Harry Connick, Jr.’s The Happy Elf (Dec. 23)
