I'm a singer/songwriter that was born on the westside of Columbus. I come from two very poor families. I know that even if you have nothing you will always have your dreams. I remember being in the back of mom's car at age five making melodies for lyrics to instrumental songs. Life stories and Mother Nature have always inspired my songwriting. I saved up my own money and bought my first guitar at a Hilltop pawnshop in 1995. I taught myself to play when I was 18. It's been 30 years since I wrote my first song. Most fathers call their daughters princess, but since I was around five-years old my dad nicknamed me Willie after the great Willie Nelson because I went around making up lyrics to On the Road Again. I played all over Ohio as a soloist for two decades before I finally formed my First band Lisa Gain & the Rusty Silos. My first big project is our 13 track album. Tracks are in chronological order starting with Obsession, which I wrote in 1998 and ending with Oh my Heart, which I wrote in 2018. Throughout everything in my life, music has always been there for me.
