Presented by Wexner Center for the Arts
didi

In tandem with Sadie Benning’s exhibition Pain Thing, the Wexner Center is hosting three musical performances in the spirit of the band Le Tigre, whose eponymous debut featured Sadie Benning as a principal member. Playing in the center’s galleries amid Benning’s work, these events evoke both Le Tigre’s musical legacy and the spirit of the exhibition.

Formed from other Columbus collaborations, didi operates within the indie rock traditions exemplified by The Breeders and Le Tigre while also exploring other musical realms. This is vehement music made by a diverse group of players who have a clear musical kinship as well as a common dedication to inclusivity and supporting marginalized voices.

Please note: this performance (approx. 30 mins.) is standing room only.

Arrive early! Performance is first-come, first-served and space is limited. Please note: you will be asked to check backpacks, large purses and other large bags, and umbrellas before entering the galleries. Click here for full list of policies, including items prohibited in the galleries. Wexner Center members always enjoy free gallery admission.
