Voting Now Open for PromoWest and Columbus Makes Art Exhibition

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) and PromoWest Productions are proud to announce the 10 finalists for the 2020 exhibition on A&R Music Bar.

The finalists are Christine D’Epiro Abbott (43209), Harry Acosta (43035), Edmund Boateng (43147), Katherine N. Crowley (43202), Ellen Knolls (43209), John McCollum (43214), Nicole Miller (43211), Ariel Peguero (43232), Erin Stacey (43224) and Jimbo Tamoro (43204).

Public voting is now open at promowestartexhibit.com.

One vote per person will be counted, and the deadline to vote is May 1 at 11:59 p.m.

The four artists with the most votes will have their work displayed on the south side of A&R Music Bar in the Arena District for one year. Each will be paid a $500 honorarium by the Arts Council and receive recognition on the installed work.

Submissions were accepted from February through the end of March, and 25 Central Ohio artists submitted work. A review committee of community and Arena District business representatives selected the 10 finalists based on the criteria of originality, creative execution and general appeal.
