Early Music in Columbus
Early Music in Columbus is a series dedicated to the music of the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and early Classical periods.
We present historically informed concerts performed on period instruments. Our series brings some of the finest early music specialists from around the world to Columbus to present powerful and moving concerts. Through re-creating the sound the composers heard when writing their musical works, we bring the past to life.
The Friends of Early Music, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has made a significant contribution to the cultural life of Columbus, Ohio.
Through this concert series, we bring a unique cultural experience to audiences and diversify the musical offerings of our city.

To cultivate, foster, sponsor, and develop knowledge, love, and appreciation of early music among all members of the community.
