McConnell Arts Center
The McConnell Arts Center (MAC) is a contemporary, multidisciplinary facility presenting and promoting the performing, visual and digital arts. The MAC's mission is to advocate, create, and nurture arts programming by utilizing the 213-seat theater, dance studio, ceramics studio, art classrooms, digital imaging studio, and art gallery. A series of performances, exhibitions and classes for children and adults are offered. The MAC is a 20,000 sq. foot building with a 213 seat theatre, an art gallery, five classrooms, a dance studio and rotating exhibitions sprinkled throughout the facility. Visitors are free to stop in and see art in the making, observe a dance class or experience nationally known, contemporary artists. A community gathering place, the place to be is at the MAC.
