Restored street clock

Plaque Text

"I have lived in the East now for nearly thirty years now, but many of my books prove that I am never very far away from Ohio in my thoughts, and that the clocks that strike in my dreams are often the clocks of Columbus. The restoration of this historic street clock is a gift from the downtown residents to the citizens of Columbus in celebration of Columbus' bicentennial. It was made possible through the generosity of the following organizations: Downtown Residents' Association of Columbus City of Columbus Capital Crossroads SID Columbus Downtown Development Corporation United Way The Jeffrey Fund The Columbus Foundation JPMorgan Chase Greater Columbus Arts Council Church of Scientology"
