Lara Dee Artistry
Lara Dee
I am a local artist based in the heart of Franklinton at 400 West Rich. My specialty lies in the art of upcycling second-hand clothing, turning each piece into a one-of-a-kind works of art through various techniques like dyeing, painting, bookmaking, and sewing. I also transform unwanted clothing into beautiful book covers for art journals, crafted with precision from leftover scraps of paper, boxes, and old books as well as create handmade paper from the leftover fabric I do not use.
In addition to the handmade works of art I sell, I also offer a diverse range of services, from eco-fashion upcycling and art therapy to digital fashion visual services and visual identity consultation including shirt restoration services, transformation art journaling workshops, and even a "Recycle Your Music" initiative, turning old CD covers into art journals.
