Jewelry / Mixed Media / Painting
What does it mean to have a relationship with food? How do viewers feel when they look at an artwork with a subject matter involving food? How does a change in scale affect viewers’ sentiments towards common objects?

One body of my fine artwork deals with issues of food, memory, and home and my pieces are created using simple materials commonly associated with craftwork, such as polymer clay and wood. Layered with frosting, fruit slices, sprinkles, and other decorative features, the foods become the focal point in each of their environments.

In addition to my fine art, I create mixed-media jewelry pieces from polymer clay, coper enamel, resin, and glass. My jewelry reflects similar themes of my fine artwork - food, memory, home.
