My work shares qualities with movie stills, Byzantine icons and Persian miniatures. The medium is one-shot oil enamel, a paint once used for painting signs and now mostly limited to car detailing. The style, although hard to categorize, is the result of following this demanding medium wherever it leads. Subject matter promotes the beautiful, the strange and the true.
