I've always had a desire to understand and be understood. I am living my life, and all around me others are doing the same. How often are we connecting, and how often are those connections real and honest?

I use my work to communicate my view of the world. It is me connecting with people in the most authentic way I know how. Those who view my work might see that we aren't so different from each other; that our views and experiences, although not the same, are still relatable. The intent of my work is to evoke an appreciation for our shared human experience and for the importance of our equal but individual perspectives. Most simply, what I set out to convey with my work is a sense of being, as if to say, "I am here, and so are you."
