B. A. Heimlich

I'm a local Columbus artist.   I have discovered that creative expression takes many forms.  During my life I have sculpted, painted, drawn, etched, fused glass, produced happenings, written music and I have learned that to survive in this field one must adapt to many ways of making art.  I don't limit myself and I try to find new ways for creative expression daily. 

I studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1982 and worked as a graphic designer for years.  After the corporate work I became a muralist for a decade.  I received my BFA from The Ohio State University in 2010 and my MA in 2012.  I am currently focused on painting.
