Some of my best work exists because I spilled some paint, mixed the wrong color or, accidently put a long scratch across the surface of a canvas. Unplanned and unexpected the art comes from something more internal and out of my control. That’s what I find exciting about art, especially Abstract Art. Trying to put down what I feel versus what I see.

To do that, I work hard to get under the layers of paint, to gouge, scrape and dig with brushes, sticks, or anything that I can, to hopefully, reveal more than what is on the surface.

As an artist what I hope to accomplish is to present a piece of art without boundaries. I believe that the power and beauty of Abstract Art lies in its ability to affect imaginations and inspire curiosity.
