"I paint my dreams, places, and images I've visited or wish to visit. As an Impressionist oil painter, I'm inspired by the Masters such as Monet and Mary Cassatt".

I believe art should make you feel something when viewing it, such as peace, comfort, happiness or romance.

I begin all of my paintings from several photos I have taken on location.

Then it's back to my studio where I put my heart and soul, and the way I perceive the subject onto the canvas! "

I use both brush and palette knife, depending on how much texture is needed for that particular piece. I love the creamy texture and shine of the oils, and I paint wet on wet to get a looser impressionistic style.
