Photographing man’s imprint on the landscape—the built environment—has been the mainstay of my work for over three decades. My projects have centered on specific places, often requiring extended periods of fieldwork to complete. Work completed within the last fifteen years in Europe, Asia, and the United States have intertwined cross-disciplinary issues of aesthetics, contemporary history, as well as cultural and political geography.
