I have been painting and showing my work for almost fifty years. After a twenty year absence as an art teacher in the southern USA, I have returned to central Ohio. My work explores the possibilities of color, texture, and space. I incorporate recycled, repurposed, and reused materials in my work, such as wood, fabrics, and other cast off and found objects, that I collect. Artists have always created works that are autobiographical and tell their personal stories. The arts touch us especially in these tough, hard, and challenging times. The arts still remain, as the best way for people to touch each others lives, and look for that glimmer of hope for a brighter day, that we all need and aspire to find. I search, I explore, and I find the kindness this world needs. I hope my work has touched you too.
