COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) and PromoWest Productions are proud to announce the 10 finalists for the 2017 exhibition on A&R Music Bar.

The finalists are Chris Casella, Tiffany Detzel, Linda Langhorst, Mimi McCann, Lynda McClanahan, Nycholas Schukay, J. Shepard, Monty Soungpradith, Aaron Luther Thomas and Judy Won.

Public voting is now open at promowestartexhibit.com.

One vote per person will be counted, and the deadline to vote is April 14 at 11:59 p.m.

The four artists with the most votes will have their work displayed on the south side of A&R Music Bar in the Arena District. Each will be paid a $500 honorarium by the Arts Council and receive recognition on the installed work.

Submissions were accepted from January through the end of February, and 28 Central Ohio artists submitted work. A review committee of community and Arena District business representatives selected the 10 finalists based on the criteria of creativity, appropriateness to theme and aesthetically pleasing/general appeal.
