The Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) in collaboration with PromoWest Productions has announced a call for entries for annual PromoWest Art Exhibition to feature work by visual artists, designers and photographers residing in Franklin County.

This annual exhibition, a partnership between PromoWest and the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Art Makes Columbus/Columbus Makes Art effort, celebrates the work of the city’s amazing artists. No other city has this unique collection of creative people.

Musicians, painters, sculptors, glass blowers, designers, actors, writers—any creative endeavor that can be thought of is pursued in Columbus and we encourage submission that spotlight that passion for creativity.

Four artists’ work will be selected and digitally produced on 9 ’wide x 10’ tall on full color panels. Each selected artist will be paid $1,000.

About The Venue

The south facing wall of the A&R Music Bar will feature the four selected two-dimensional, digitally reproduced, images displayed on 9’ x 10’ panels. These images will be viewable on the southside of A&R Music Bar across from Huntington Park, at Neil Avenue and Brodbelt Lane. They will be illuminated at night and labeled with a plaque containing the artist’s name and title of work.
