Romanian director Radu Jude blends the absurd and the incisive to create a truly singular film experience.
Angela is an overworked and underpaid production assistant. Assigned to help cast a safety equipment video, she drives around Bucharest auditioning people who suffered workplace injuries. Meanwhile, she’s making TikToks as her alter ego “Bobita,” a face-filtered, trash-talking, right-wing Andrew Tate-esque figure with a large following. Presented with English subtitles.
