Elevatory Brewery/Columbus Larrimer
The Elevator Brewing Company is located in the former Bott Brothers Saloon. Among the distinctive features of this turn-of-the century saloon are the stained glass domed storefront windows, the enormous mahogany bar and back bar and the mosaic tile floor. The Clock Restaurant operated in this location for many years before the Elevator Brewing Company took over the space. A ghost of a womanizer who met his fate at the end of a dagger supposedly haunts the space. Tunnels were said to have connected the basements of Bott Brothers with the Statehouse, allowing legislators to move between the two establishments during Prohibition.
